Earth and Family

Be a good steward of the Earth AND your family’s health.

By Shelly Hackney

Job 12:7-10 - But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

The Bible shares how important the Earth is to Him, and to us—who have stewardship over it.

We are all aware of the dangers of toxins in common household cleaning products but what about skin and personal products? How certain are you that they do not contain chemicals that could be harmful to you and your children? CDC Organization

People have always said beauty is skin deep, meaning people might be beautiful to look at but inside might be far from beautiful. There is truth to that meaning. The Skin is the largest organ of the body. It acts as an interface between the internal and external environments. What products are you using that have chemicals in them? Absorption transports chemicals from the outer surface of the skin into both the skin and the body. Studies show that absorption of chemicals through the skin can occur without being noticed by you.

What you put on your skin absorbs into your body. Is there lead in lipstick? A number of metals, including lead, arsenic, mercury, aluminum, zinc, chromium and iron are found in cosmetics ranging from lipstick to whitening toothpaste, eyeliner, nail color, deodorant, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, sunscreen, anti-wrinkle cream, moisturizer, foundation, face powder, blush, eye shadow, perfume, after-shave lotion and more.

Environmental Wellness is a concept to assist you in reducing the effects of toxins on your life and family. The chemicals that we use have to go somewhere. You wash clothes, your body and clean the house. Cleaning supplies are very harmful to you and the environment. Take a simple test to see what you have in your home: Toxin check list.

Most people are surprised at the amount of chemicals they come into contact on a daily basis. These chemicals not only have an impact on the health of our children but on the environment around us. A simple survey of what you use in your household will alert you to the dangers you face.

Cleaners

While I must admit to not spending a lot of time worrying about environmental issues in the past, lately things have begun to change around our household. If for no other reason than taking note of just how often our trash bin filled with bulky hard to dispose of plastic bottles of all shapes and sizes! But on closer observation I noticed some interesting information and 'instructions' were also included in the conversion pack! These spray bottles were designed to be reused and the tiny bottle of concentrate cost less than buying a comparable cleanser and tossing yet another non-degradable bottle in the outgoing trash bin!I have always grabbed the familiar bottle of Cleaners., in the past so my first impulse was to see how the new conversion pack held up to the challenge of how long these cleaners last and how good they work. These cleaners were all natural so I did not have to worry about my grandkids getting hurt by my cleaners under the cabinet.

I just followed the instructions it was so simple just fill the cleaning bottle with the concentrate cleaners to the indicted mark on the spray bottle, and then just add water. Replacing it with the spray top and giving the bottle a shake to mix it all together.
Did you know that at the store you pay for the water that is in the products? Then they add on the advertising and the shipping.

So why don’t you switch store and buy safer, concentrated, and natural product that save you money and the environmental.

Save the Evnironment

We do this at home now, and use natural products. That have safe us money and the environment. After the earthquakes, floods, and hurricanes, I ask myself. Nature is starting to tell us something. One person can make a different, better change because Nature cannot take too much more of being abuse. Then the oil spill, It makes me sick the big company did not take responsibility until they had to. I found this company that I have team up with; this company has been in business for 25 year and is debit free. This company is great; I have saved money, helped the environment and can make money by just helping other people shop there. If you would like more information about this company call me 1-800-523-3097

If we do not change this is what it might look like for are kids or grandkids.

One person can make a different, the question is WELL YOU. This is what the earth is like now.
